About VueScale

We are an operator-led fintech advisory firm. We help fintech vendors win and deliver work with banks, and we help banks move on open banking, embedded finance, agentic commerce and alternative credit data. Our founder spent 20+ years in payments and fintech leadership roles. We are small, we sell on credibility, and every client deliverable has to be right.

The role

You will be the founder's right hand. You start by running the engine of the firm, then take on more of the selling and delivery as you earn it. This is judgment work: shaping how we position and sell, running the operating rhythm, managing programs end to end, and building the bench of operators who deliver with us.

What you'll do in the role

Foundations: The operating rhythm, a weekly pipeline review, one scorecard, a decision log, and the SOPs and tools (CRM, project tracking, AI workflows) that keep the firm running.
Sales process and pipeline: A repeatable sales process from first touch to signed SOW, a clean CRM, and a 90-day forecast.
Lead generation and analytics: Target account lists, campaign support, and the metrics that show what's working and where to focus.
Pitch decks and proposals: Pitch decks, proposals, SOWs and pricing, drafted from call notes.

Operating partners: Tight coordination with our operating partners and contract operators across the US, India and Latin America, covering plans, status, risks, and quality before anything reaches a client.
Positioning, content and sales strategy: Actively shape VueScale's market positioning, thought-leadership content and sales strategy with the founder, and turn them into plans the team executes.
Founder leverage: Briefs before meetings, decisions and actions captured afterward, loose ends chased until they close.

Who we're looking for

7 to 12 years across program management, delivery or operations, ideally in fintech, payments, banking technology or boutique consulting.
Equally comfortable with strategy and execution: you can shape the plan, then roll up your sleeves and run it.
Has worked in partnerships and sales roles, not just operations, and understands how deals and alliances actually get done.
Has run multi-party programs with banks, processors, networks or vendors, and can explain what went wrong and what they changed.
Commercial instincts: has shaped proposals, pricing or deal strategy, and is comfortable with SOWs and margin math.
Comfortable in conversations with senior bank and fintech stakeholders, and genuinely interested in growing into sales.

Strong communication skills.
Has managed contractors across time zones, is practical with tools (CRM, spreadsheets, project trackers, AI assistants), and handles confidential information with discretion.
Led delivery or supported business development at a boutique advisory firm, or was a manager at a large consulting firm (nice to have).
Prior experience in financial services: payments, open banking, embedded finance, data or credit operations (nice to have).
Was the Chief of Staff and managed executive priorities and operations at a small firm (nice to have).

Location

Remote from anywhere, ideally in the US or LatAm, or willing to work on US Central (Chicago) time.
